We always love activities that make us active!  I mean, I have six little kids in my house every day.  That’s a lot of energy, so we can pretty much always use an activity that burns some energy.  So next up in Letter K week, we are burning some energy.  If you could use a little active learning too then see all the details below!

What You Need:

– Alphabet Kick Printable (Free at the end of this post)

OR

Foam Alphabet Letters

26 Ball Pit Balls

Bucket or Basket

– Scissors

How to Play:

-First, you want to print your Alphabet Kicks printable and cut it apart or if you are running short on time just grab some foam alphabet letters and put them in a bucket.

-Next, you want to get your balls ready.  Write one letter of the alphabet on each ball.  I wrote lowercase letters on the balls so they could practice uppercase and lowercase matching.  You can choose whatever is best for your kids!

– Now you want to take the balls outside and spread them out!  We used our backyard, but any open area will work!

– Finally, it’s time to play!!  Have your child draw a letter from the bucket and then run around the yard and find the ball with the matching letter.  Once they find the ball, let them kick it!  You can even have them kick it into a goal if you want!  Keep going until all the balls have been matched and kicked!

You can grab your own copy of Alphabet Keys when you become an email subscriber!  Just enter your information below and then look for the pink download button.
