Alphabet Dress Match Up

Alphabet Dress Match Up

This Alphabet Dress Match Up was inspired by my dress-loving youngest daughter.  If you would ask me the one activity my girls have gone back to the most it would be this one.  It is quiet so we can take it with us when we are going to the doctor or even when we are waiting in the car.  Dress up the dolls never seems to get old for my daughter!  Now, I am going to be honest up front that there is more cutting involved in this one, but it has been totally worth it!  So fire up some Netflix and let’s get to cutting!

What You Need:

-Alphabet Dress Printable (Free for subscribers at the end of this post)

Scissors

-Laminator and Laminating Packets- I have used this laminator for years and love it!  These packets are also fabulous!

Velcro Dots

How to Play:

– Print and laminate your Alphabet Dress printable.  In order to make this work I really would recommend you laminate.  You could try using cardstock if you want, but it would definitely lack the durability of lamination.

After you have laminated everything you can cut apart each square card base and then also cut apart the dresses.  I know the dresses take a bit, but you got this!!  I would also recommend then adding velcro dots of the back of each dress and on the middle of each larger base card.  This will help the dress stay in place and keep it from sliding all over and keep your child from being frustrated!

Now comes the fun!  Spread out all the dresses and have your child pick one large card.  Each large card has an letter on it.  Let your child find the matching uppercase or lowercase dress (both uppercase and lowercase are included in the download) and velcro it on the girl!  It’s like educational paper dolls!
