Alphabet Mini Golf
This week we have some alphabet mini golf coming to you!! Summer is the perfect time for mini golf! We have a cute dinosaur themed mini golf course in town and my big kids love it! I have fond memories in my childhood of walking down to the local mini golf course during the summer time. So this week we are adding that mini golf fun to our preschool learning time!

What You Need for Alphabet Mini Golf:

– Scissors
How to Play:
Print off the Mini Golf Alphabet cards and recording sheet. Cut apart the alphabet cards. You can also gather you toy golf club and ball. If you don’t have a golf club you can use a croquet club or even a broom! You may have a play golf set which includes an indoor hole. You can use this or if you don’t have something like this, you can make your own “hole” by cutting a strip of construction paper. Tape each side of the construction paper to the floor while creating an upside down u on the ground.
Now you can start to play! Have your child draw one alphabet card and identify the letter. Go back and forth with any players drawing cards and identifying letters. If a player draws a golfer card they earn a point and a chance for another point! Decide an appropriate distance away from your golf hole and let your child try to hit the ball in the hole. If they make it in the hole (or under your homemade hole) then they earn another point.
The first player to get 9 points wins!! This game is such a great way to practice letters, but also get to move your bodies!! And I have included both uppercase and lowercase cards so you can pick one or the other or mix them all together!!
