Alphabet Paint Cards

These Alphabet Paint Cards are such a fun option for any day!  You can use any colored manipulative you have on hand!  And it is such a great option if your child needs to focus on just a few letters at a time.  These cards let them focus on just three letters at a time so they are great for kids that haven’t mastered their letters!

What You Need for these Alphabet Paint Cards:

– Alphabet Paint Cards Printable(Free for newsletter subscribers at the end of this post.)

Scissors

Markers , Dot Markers, Pom Poms or other colored manipulative.

How To Play:

– First, print off your Alphabet Paint Cards.  Cut the cards apart.  Then you can decide how you want to use these cards.  You can have your child color each paint splat in the matching color as the paint tube on the left side.  You could laminate these and use colored dry erase markers.  Dry erase markers always seem to be more exciting for my kids!  Or you could use dot markers and dot the paint splats with matching colors.  Just make sure your child is saying each letter and/or sound when they color!

If your child doesn’t love coloring you could also use any colored manipulative.  You could use math cubes or pom poms.  Add child tweezers for an extra fine motor challenge!

You could also use playdough to mark each color.  Just roll a ball of the correct color and push it down as they are identifying the matching letters.

You can do as many or as few of these cards as is right for your child.  If they are getting restless, put them aside and finish them on another day!  If they are loving it, let them do all the cards!  I have also made both uppercase and lowercase cards so you can choose whatever option works best for you!  Happy learning!!
