Summer Counting Book
If you have a toddler or preschool child who is working on counting then this week’s summer counting book is for you! Each page features a summer themed activity and your child gets to make simple additions to each page. Counting through and adding the correct number of objects will also help your child with that much needed one to one correspondence too! Â

What You Need for Alphabet Mini Golf:
– Summer Counting Book (free at the end of the post!)
– Scissors
How to Play:
Print off the Summer Counting Book and cut apart the pages. You can choose if you want to staple the book together first or if you want to let your child complete the pages before stapling it. This is another activity that you could split into multiple days if your child doesn’t have the attention span to complete it all in one session.
You will want to read each page to your child.  Then they will follow the directions and either use regular markers or dot markers to add to the page. I worked really hard to make sure each page was either a simple circle you could use a dot marker for or a simple shape like above with the triangles for the shark fins.
Keep going until all ten pages are finished! I also included a black and white version of this in case you want to have your child color the pages too!! Happy counting!!
