Birthday Alphabet Match

It’s birthday week at our house, so this birthday alphabet match is exactly what we need!  Within a week, my mom is turning 70, I am turning 40 and my baby is turning 3!  There is a whole lot of celebrating happening over here.  So I am sharing this birthday themed alphabet activity for whenever you have your own birthday celebration week!!

What You Need for Birthday Alphabet Cards:

– Birthday Alphabet Cards Printable (free at the end of the post!)

Scissors

Laminator (Optional)

– Velcro Dots (Optional)

How to Play:

Print off the Birthday Alphabet Cards.  I would recommend laminating these pages, especially if you are using them with a younger child or want to use them multiple times!  You will want to cut apart the larger alphabet cards and the smaller present cards.

I also recommend adding velcro dots to this activity.  You can put one dot on the back side of the present cards and the match on the empty boxes on top of the larger cards.  These cards also come with uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and beginning sounds picture cards.  You can print and use whichever set is right for your child!

Once the activity is prepped and ready to go you can let your child pick a present card and put it on the matching larger card.  You could start with only 5 to 10 cards to keep your child from being overwhelmed!  One of the best parts of teaching your child at home is customizing your activities so they are exactly what your child needs!  Happy Learning!
