Preschool Apple Math Activity
This preschool apple math activity is a perfect pair to all your fall apple fun! My family loves to visit our local apple orchard every fall. It is so fun to search for the best apples and then come home and make all of the apple goodies! And now we can use this week’s freebie to keep the apple fun alive while we practice some preschool math!

What You Need for this Apple Math Activity:
– Apple Math Activity Printable (free at the end of the post!)
– Scissors
–Math Cubes or other small manipulatives
How to Play:
Print off the Apple Math Freebie. Cut apart the apple counting cards. Gather up some type of small manipulative. We used math cubes, but you could use mini erasers, pom poms or any other manipulative you have around. And now you are ready to play!Â
You can play this game several ways. You could simply have your child pick a card, count the apples and cover the matching number on the apple mat. If you want to add more movement, you could hide the apple cards and have your child find them before counting and covering the matching number. Â
Finally, you could draw a card, count the apples and then “pick” the same amount of apples. You could draw a tree on a larger sheet of butcher paper and cover it, sticky side out with contact paper. Stick red pom poms to the tree and let your child pick the matching number of “apples” for each card! Happy playing!
