Shooting Star Alphabet Activity
If your kids love flashlights as much as mine do then this shooting star alphabet activity will certainly be engaging for them! Seriously, my big three LOVE flashlights! They even got little flashlights in their stockings for Christmas and were overjoyed! So we grabbed those flashlights and got to learning!

How to Play Shooting Stars Alphabet Activity:
First, print off and cut apart the Free Alphabet Star Printable (available at the end of this post)
Next you will need to find a large open area in your house. You could use a wall, the side of your refridgerator, or even the floor if needed. We have bunk beds so we used that area! Now tape the letters randomly around your chosen area.
Now comes the fun part! Turn off the lights and grab the flashlight! Tell your child a letter and then have them search using their flashlight as a light. (Also, look at this picture of little girl from the first time we did this activity!!)
Keep searching for letters until you find them all!! You could even switch things around and have your child find a letter first and then put them on the ground and arrange them in alphabetical order until they are all found! The dark and the flashlight combined are so much fun!!
