Blind Cereal Taste Test
We had some fun with this Blind Cereal Taste Test last week during our Four O’Clock Fun! It gave us the chance to buy those fun little boxes of cereal and to talk about how we used all our senses to make our guesses. There was even laughter over some of our silly guesses! We definitely recommend it for a fun change of pace!

How to Play:
First, print off the Blind Cereal Taste Test printable. You will need one sheet for each child. Gather five different cereals, but make sure your kids don’t see the cereals. Â
Now have your child put their blindfolds on. Introduce each cereal one at a time. Your child can smell and touch and taste the cereal.
Continue to let your child try each cereal one at a time. Make sure to keep the blindfold on the entire time! Then once you have finished tasting all five cereals, make sure all of the cereals are put away.
Once the cereals are put away, have your children take the blindfolds off and fill out their guesses on the taste test sheet. If your child can’t write yet, you can have them give them their answers and write them down for you. Once all the answers are written down, you can one by one reveal what each of the cereals were. Your child can circle the thumbs up or thumbs down based on if they made the correct guess. It was fun to talk about what tricked us up on any cereals we may have missed!
