This week we are using one of my girls favorite things…glitter glue!!! It’s really the only way I like to use glitter. They get to make things sparkle and I don’t have to pick up glitter off my foor for the next 12 years! Plus using the glitter glue was great fine motor practice for their little hands while we were practicing letter recognition!
How to Play:
-First, print and cut apart the Alphabet Glue It cards and tracking sheet. Put all the cards in a bucket or basket of some sort.
-Give each child a recording sheet and let them choose a glitter glue to use. Then let each child take a turn drawing a Alphabet Glue It card.
– Each card has an uppercase letter. When a card is drawn your child will look for the lowercase match on their recording sheet.
– Once they find the match, your child will take their glitter glue and trace the matching lowercase letter.
– Squeezing those bottles is such good practice for those hand muscles. Our tracing wasn’t perfect, but they are learning and growing while having fun!!
