Fourth of July Alphabet Activity

I can hardly believe it’s almost July and I am making a Fourth of July alphabet activity for you all!  Summer break goes so fast every year!  Didn’t we just start, and now we are almost halfway done?  But with July comes the fourth and we are really excited to be able to celebrate normally with friends and family this year!    And or course we have a little patriotic fun for our school time too!

What You Need:

– Fourth of July Alphabet Activity- Pull and Dot (Free at the end of this post)

Scissors

-Dot Markers

How to Play:

First, you want to print your Fourth of July Alphabet Activity.  It comes in both upper and lowercase options, so print what works for you!  You will also need to cut apart the alphabet cards before playing.

On your game card you will see six patriotic friends on the left side.  The goal of the game is to see which boy or girl will find all their letters first.  You and your child can each take a guess for which child will finish first.

Now you can mix up your alphabet cards and put them in a basket or bag and draw one at a time out.  For each card you draw, find the matching letter on your page.

When you find the match dot it with a dot marker.  There are a few letters that appear twice so if you draw one of those you get to choose which one to dot!  Keep going until one of the patriotic boys or girls has found all their letters.
