Easter Alphabet Bunny Tail Activity
This week’s Easter Alphabet Bunny Tail Activity was so fun to try out on my own three year old. This activity is hands on which makes it perfect if you have an active little learner like I do! My little guy isn’t ready to actually write letters, and is still working on mastering all the letter names and sounds so activities like this are perfect for him! It keeps his hands busy doing something while his mind is working to recognize and name letters!

What You Need:
– Printable Alphabet Tail Cards (Free at the end of this post)
-White Pom Poms or Mini Marshmallows
How to Play:
Print out the free Alphabet Tails Cards and cut them apart. Next, gather up some white pom poms or some mini marshmallows to use as the bunnies’ fluffy tails! Now you are ready to play! Â
The first thing you can do is to direct your child’s attention to the basket in the upper left hand corner. Let them identify the letter and/or sound and then see if they can find a bunny with the matching letter. When they find a match they can put a bunny “tail” on it! There should be five matching letters on each card.
Not only is this activity hands on for younger learners, but you can also separate these cards into several days or weeks! You can have them do 2 or 3 cards a day or add more if your child has greater mastery of the letter names and sounds. Do what works for you in this season and know you are helping prepare your child for academic success!  Â
