I am so excited to share this game bundle with all of you!!! This may be my favorite game bundle yet!! Maybe it’s just all the hearts and Valentine’s love going to my head, but I just think you and your littles are going to love these! Check out all the details below!
1. Valentine’s Clip Cards
I just love the cute little clipart in this game! If you are in need of clipart you should definitely check out Whimsy Clips. She has super cute stuff!
Besides cute clipart, this game includes 3 different learning levels! The goal of each level is to use a clothes pin to clip onto the matching letter.
The first level is for beginning learners. This is where my little one is right now. It is simply matching uppercase to uppercase. I know this seems super simple to us as adults, but remember that every exposure a child can get to letters is beneficial. I give my daughter the card and she tells me the letter name and finds the match on the right hand side. If she doens’t know a letter, I help her out, but she can still feel successful by finding the matching letter even when she can’t remember the letter name. I find this really keeps her motivated!
The next level of learning is matching lowercase to it’s uppercase pair. Again, an opportunity for you to talk about letters and provide help where needed. And using the clips is great for fine motor development too!
The final level is matching a picture with it’s beginning sound letter. If your learner isn’t quite ready for this, consider taking a couple of the cards each day and walking through the card together.
With my daughter, we talk about the picture we see and then see if she can identify the beginning sound. Then we look at our three letter options and make the sounds for each of these until we find a match! She definitely still needs my help with this step, but helping her to isolate the beginning sound is helping her slowly develop that skill.

2. Letter Love
This is a favorite for my little girl! To play you can make a spinner out of a paperclip and a pen.
How to play: The first player spins and chooses a matching letter from the Letter Love Board. The second player repeats the process. The first player to get 4 in a row wins!
We used 2 different kinds of mini erasers to cover our letters but you could uses counters, cubes, jewels, or anything else small!
This game comes with boards for each of the letters of the alphabet! There are 5 boards featuring Uppercase to Uppercase letter matching.
The next 5 boards feature uppercase to lowercase matching. If your learner is ready to match uppercase letters with it’s lowercase match then these are perfect for you!!
This game also includes a blank template! You can use this to work on specific letters that your learner may be struggling with, or when you are first beginning to learn letters and you may be focusing on letters in your child’s name. You can customize this board for whatever letters you want to use!

3. Perfect Match
The final game in this Valentines Bundle is called Perfect Match. Your learner will need to find the perfect heart and envelope match for each letter.
There are so many different ways you could play this game!
You can choose to simply lay out all the cards and have your child match them.
You could do it in the form of a memory game.
My little ones love finding games, so we like to hide the heart cards all over our living room and then she goes for a hunt. Every time she finds a heart card, she returns to our kitchen table and finds the cards matching envelope card.
This game would also be fun to hide the heart cards in a tub of conversation hearts!
If all of the cards are too overwhelming then just use 5 to 10 cards at a time!
This game comes in two versions. Uppercase to uppercase matching and also uppercase to lowercase matching, so you get to choose what is right for you!
This game also comes with 2 different recording sheets. The first one is perfect if your learner isn’t quite ready to write letters on their own. In this version, you simply find the matching heart and color it in!
The second recording sheet is a little more advanced and allows the learner to write each letter name in a box. You can do the uppercase and lowercase pairing together or stick with just uppercase if you want!
