What You Need for this Valentine’s Preschool Math Game:
– Cupid’s Candy Hearts Printable (Free for newsletter subscribers at the end of this post.)
–Valentine Stickers (or other markers for the player cards!)
How To Play:
First, print off your Cupid Candy’s Heart Game. Cut apart the cupid cards and put them in a pile. Players will take turn drawing a cupid card. Identify the number shown in the ten frame and move your player piece the same number of squares.
After moving if the player lands on a colored heart, they can take a heart sticker (or some other marker) and cover a matching heart on their player card. If all hearts of that color are already covered then play simply continues to the next person.
Beware though! If you land on a broken heart you must take one of your heart markers off! Play continues around the board until one player has covered all the hearts on their player card. Also, if your child is not ready for ten frames, I have included cupid cards with numbers on them also! So there is something for everyone!
