Unicorn Alphabet Look and Find

This week’s Unicorn Alphabet Look and Find activity is perfect for kids that love to look for clues or love unicorns!  It comes in three different versions so you can find something for the child who is just beginning to learn letters all the way to the child who is starting to learn sight words.  And of course it is free!

What You Need:

– Unicorn Alphabet Look and Find Worksheet (Free at the end of this post)

-Markers

– Magnifying Glass (optional)

How to Play:

You are going to want to print whichever version of this activity is best for your child.  Gather up some markers or a pencil and get ready to learn.  The first option for this activity is uppercase letters.  You can use a kid magnifying glass if you want to add a little excitement to this activity, but that is totally optional if you don’t already have one!

Let your child use the magnifying glass to search for the letters in the alphabet hidden in the picture.  Once they find a letter, circle it and then trace it in the grid below.  The letters are small, but if you don’t have a magnifying glass, they are not impossible to see without it.  Keep going until you have found all the letters!

The other options to use are either a lowercase version or a sight word version.  For the sight word version your child will look for 10 sight words in the picture and then write the sight words down below.  So your child will need to be comfortable with writing letters on their own instead of just tracing them as in the other two options.  These would be great activities for home or for a classroom center!
