Outdoor Scavenger Hunt

Outdoor Scavenger Hunt

An outdoor scavenger hunt is just what you need when it’s four o’clock and everyone is going crazy!  Something about getting outside helps everyone make it to dinner time with a little more joy!  This hunt is really made in a Bingo style so you can race to get a bingo or you can go for a full black out (which is my personal favorite!)

What You Need:

Outdoor Bingo Printable (free at the end of this post)

Clipboards

Markers

How To Play:

First, print off a copy of Outdoor Bingo.  I choose to print one for each of my kids so they would all have something to follow.  I also get a clipboard for each of them to carry with them so they have something hard to write on too.

Next, it’s time to take the party outside.  You can choose what you have time for.  We took our bingo game around the neighborhood.  And I made a rule that they could only find one thing on their paper for each yard we passed.  This helped make sure my older children didn’t finish way before my younger ones!

I included pictures on these Bingo cards too, so even your non-readers can join in the fun independently!  Just cross the pictures out as you find each thing on the card!
